The Era Manifesto

The Era Manifesto
They sell you on "clean." On "natural." On "real ingredients."
Look closer.
The Sweeteners: Stevia, monk fruit, sucralose, aspartame, all fake energy. They taste like fuel but deliver nothing. Your body expects energy and gets tricked.
The Flavors: "Natural flavors" that are anything but. Nature gave us fruits, spices, herbs, honey, maple, milk. "Natural flavors" is a loophole. A chemical shortcut dressed in legal language that leaves you completely in the dark about what you're eating.
The Calories: They aren't there. No carbs. No fats. Just protein in a void, masked in additives to keep it palatable, marketed as "no sugar" and "only 130 calories." Scarcity of energy as a selling point.
The Fillers: Thickeners, emulsifiers, dyes, maltodextrin, and other compounds that are completely unnecessary. If you use these products daily, you're dosing daily. Compounding. Accumulating.
This is quite literally 99% of the industry. I've checked.
I know what energetic scarcity feels like.
From 18 to 21, I ran competitive cross country. 80 to 120 miles per week at peak training. Eating 2,800 calories a day. That math doesn't work. That's the metabolic hole I dug myself into.
I diluted oatmeal with zucchini because the oats had too many carbs. Avoided fats and oils. Sometimes ate a quarter of an avocado to save on calories. Avoided sugar like the plague. Constantly hungry. Constantly tired. Still skinny fat from tanking my metabolism. Eating less, gaining nothing but frustration.
The binges came in the form of a family pack of Oreos, 33 cookies, the whole pack, a few times per month, because my body was screaming for energy I wouldn't give it.
Restriction put me in a metabolic trap.
I've watched people in my family do the same. Protein-only diets. Maintenance calories sitting at 1,300. Losing weight while losing themselves. The moment they eat like a human again, it all comes back.
There had to be another way.
Era is a pro-metabolic food company.
Energy maxxing. Nutrient maxxing. Abundance > restriction.
We're building real foods, protein powders, functional candies, made with simple ingredients like your grandparents had. Everyday staples with nothing to hide.
No natural flavors. No stevia. No fillers.
Every ingredient earns its place.
Every label could go on the front of the bag.
We started with Maple Milk: whole milk powder, grass-fed whey from New Zealand, maple sugar, sea salt.
4 ingredients. 400 calories. 30 grams of protein.
Made in small batches by one person who got fed up enough to do something about it.
First product. Not the last.
This isn't about fighting the supplement industry. It's about building something next to it. Something so simple it becomes an indictment by existing.
Energy and structure depend on each other. Starve the body, and everything collapses, metabolism, clarity, joy. Feed it real fuel, and everything expands. That's physiology. That's the foundation of bioenergetic thinking, people like Dr. Ray Peat, who saw nutrition as abundance, not restriction.
We're not here to tell you what to eat.
We're showing you what happens when you stop fearing food.
Know exactly what you're eating.
If you've been looking for this, you found it.
Welcome to Era.
